Donating to the AIDs Benefit Concerts at USF -
Crosswinds Wesley Foundation at USF is the United Methodist Church 's representation on the college or university campus. The students of Crosswinds are passionate about caring for AIDS orphans in Southern Africa so much so that they have 2 children that they sponsor every month. One child is from Zambia and one is from Swaziland . The concert proceeds go to feed, clothe, educate, and teach the love of Jesus to these children. During each concert, students are informed of the realities of the AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa and are encouraged to find ways to share their new knowledge with others. Projects at USF -
It is imperative that the local church takes action in regards to the HIV/AIDS pandemic, not only in Africa , but also for those at risk in our own backyard. Crosswinds Wesley Foundation at USF teams with other student organizations that strive to get the word out on campus about prevention and safe behavior. If you are interested in making a donation to enable Christian students to continue sharing the love of Jesus to the USF community through prevention events, please call 813.985.4057.
Participating in the Hoops of Hope Fundraiser at USF -
Hoops of Hope is a non-profit organization affiliated with World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization that seeks to care for the world's most vulnerable children.

Hoops of Hope is a fundraising basketball shoot-a-thon to raise money for villages in Zambia that have been ravaged by AIDS. The goal of 2008 is to raise enough money through sponsored free-throw players to build a medical lab for HIV testing, and purchase caregiver kits and bicycles for caregivers of AIDS victims.
